ASSEMBLY OF BRONZE PARTS / BEFORE WELDING
“HEAVY METAL!!” The raw bronze out of the foundry is shown in the photos above. Basically the wax is used to make another mold, then when that is heated and the wax melts out, all that’s needed is to pour in the molten bronze metal. The sections missing show how the wax was cut to keep the bronze from getting damaged during the pours. All of these pieces are welded together before the patina is applied.
